Watford Goalkeeper Ben Foster Banned from Driving for Six Months After 100mph Speeding Offence
Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has been handed a six-month driving ban after being caught driving at 100mph on a motorway.
The former England international, known for his long career in the Premier League and his popular YouTube channel, was stopped by police after being clocked at nearly 30mph over the speed limit. The incident occurred earlier this year, and the case was heard in court this week.
In addition to the ban, Foster was ordered to pay a fine and court costs. The 41-year-old did not contest the charge and admitted to the speeding offence.
The goalkeeper, who has also played for Manchester United, Birmingham City, and West Bromwich Albion, has yet to make a public statement regarding the court’s decision.
Foster remains a well-known figure both on and off the pitch, and his ban will not affect his playing duties with Watford — though it will mean he’ll need to find alternative travel arrangements for the foreseeable future.
