2022 NFL Predictions
It always feels like a lifetime for Week 1 of the NFL season to get here after the Super Bowl is over. We have finally made it to the beginning of The 2022 NFL Season. What is going to happen this season? What could possibly go wrong? Super Bowl hangovers? Let’s get right to some predictions for this upcoming season. Now is also a great time to look at some of the best odds from an NFL perspective.
Prediction #1 Rams get 12 wins for the 2022 NFL Season
The Los Angeles Rams will host the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football to kick off the regular season. Are the Rams going to suffer from the fate of not having that same hunger to win a championship? NOT a chance! Much has been made of losing Von Miller. Keep in mind they were able to sign Donald long term and add an All Pro in Bobby Wagner. Basically, the Rams lose a great pass rusher and add a great run stopper. The defense will be just fine. A nice addition in Allen Robinson will give Stafford another reliable receiver to utilize. The uncertainty at QB for the 49ers, Seahawks loss of Russell Wilson and the Cardinals unreliability will help the Rams to get 12 wins this season and win the division.
Prediction #2 Josh Allen wins MVP for the 2022 NFL Season
Josh Allen has already been putting up MVP caliber numbers throughout his first 5 years in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers loses Davante Adams who won the MVP the last 2 seasons, so this should give Allen a big advantage considering the Bills still have the majority of their offense again this season. Allen proved he is an absolute force in the running game putting up 763 rushing yards last season. Josh Allen can now use this to his advantage because in the back of ALL defenses minds now will be to watch Allen on the run. I feel like now it will be like a game of chess forcing defenses to have to pick their poison. You can still find Allen for +700 on most sportsbooks to win the MVP. That may be a better futures bet than taking the Bills to win the Super Bowl.
Prediction #3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the Super Bowl
Tampa Bay had every chance to beat the Rams in the playoffs last season. The Bucs were able to comeback from a 27-3 deficit to tie the game 27-27, leaving 42 seconds on the clock for the Rams to put together a FG drive to win 30-27. It almost felt like the Rams survived that game even though you have to give them credit for building that big of a lead. Tom Brady gets a new weapon in Julio Jones who will likely have a chip on his shoulder. At the very least this gives Tom Brady another threat in the Red Zone where Tampa Bay will remain a matchup nightmare. You can find The Tampa Bay Buccaneers for +900 on some sportsbooks right now. That is a very good Futures bet to consider.
