Zlatan Ibrahimovic left with his face bloodied after a horrific head clash in AC Milan’s tie with Bologna

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC was left in a bloody mess after a nasty clash of heads in AC Milan’s Serie A game against Bologna.
The Milan hitman received a powerful header from former Swansea midfielder Gary Medel in the second half of Monday night’s game at the San Siro.

Small and burly Medel caught Ibrahimovic on the left side of his face as he tried to fight for the ball.
And his attempt to capture the ball, which had both men writhing in pain, brought blood to Ibrahimovic.
An enraged Ibrahimovic raged at the referee, pointing at his wound as he demanded punishment after getting back on his feet.
But official Livio Marinelli decided against yellowing Medel – much to Ibra’s frustration.
Both men were quickly attended to by doctors and required bandages to be applied for the remainder of the game.
Title-chasers Milan were held to a 0-0 draw by 12th-placed Bologna, failing to close the gap on second-placed Napoli.
Despite playing at home, Milan wore his bizarre new fourth kit when Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men visited.
Besides the club’s traditional black and red stripes, Milan’s fourth kit features two large white patches on the top and bottom of the shirt.

The quirky design looks like the club’s traditional home kit has been dipped in a tub of white paint.
NemeN founder and die-hard Milan fan Leonardo Fasolo designed the kit, which also includes white shots.
He said: “Getting the opportunity to design this special collaborative fourth jersey and having a premium capsule alongside it was a dream opportunity.
“We’ve given the classic flicks a rollicking twist.”
Milan will be back in action on Sunday night, traveling to Torino to face Torino.
