Ibrahimovic beamed all over his face as he posed for photos alongside other cast members.
The French-language film is set to premiere in France on February 1 and will feature several French actors.
Marion Cotillard, best known for her roles in Inception and The Dark Night Rises, stars in the film and was photographed alongside Ibrahimovic.
The AC Milan star looked sharp in a black suit and shirt while showing off his luxury watch.
Ibrahimovic makes his film debut in Asterix & Obelix, playing the role of Roman captain Oneofus in the latest film adaptation of the French classic.
And his performance seems to be judging by the trailer.
Engaged in a fiery battle, the former Manchester United striker is able to use his footballing skills, flicking his feet up a helmet before delivering a devastating uppercut to a villain and knocking his opponent off his feet.
Another scene sees a huge crowd cheering for Ibrahimovic with open arms as he earns the applause – leaving Asterix and Obelix to look on in amazement.

Ibrahimovic is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury and underwent surgery back in May.
This hasn’t affected the longevity of Ibrahimovic’s career, however, as he turned down talk of retirement.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “I’m arrogant, zero fear. I’m fine, I’m working every day to come back.
“You’ll see for sure. When I come back, I’ll be heard, you can count on that. I’ll do it by force.
“Patience is required, that’s the key now.”
