The photo initially appears to be a rocky landscape in Cura, India, taken by avid photographer Sudhir Shivaram.

But if you look closely, you can see the cunning predator lurking, looking for its next meal.

Sudhir, 43, was hoping to see one of the giant leopards as Cura is known for its wildlife.

Sudhir said: “The site is very popular with leopards because of its rocky terrain.

“The leopard had come out of its den and was resting.”

The avid wildlife photographer made sure to keep a good distance from the killer cat.

He said: “I took the photo with the leopard a little off-centre so it’s really hard to find.

“They are the most adaptable animals and can easily service smaller mammals, birds and sometimes native cattle.

“As long as we don’t disturb them, they won’t interfere in our lives and coexist.”

Can you find it hiding in the rocky terrain?

Another photo went viral for hiding a snow leopard, and if you can spot it in under five seconds, you’ve got a keen eye.

The big cat blended in perfectly with the snowy mountains – it’s harder to spot than you think.

The caption read: “Some snow leopards cover themselves in snow for near-perfect camouflage like this one.”

One person gave some advice on how to find it: “It’s a lot closer/bigger than you think.”

Another said: “Can’t believe how well camouflaged it is.”
