The fact report claimed that putting your iPhone on airplane mode would speed up the loading time.
And they said that when they experimented with it, they found that the difference in loading time was “3 minutes faster.”
Others on social media who tried the savvy hack were quick to praise the method.
One commented: “Yes that’s right, since the phone is in airplane mode the phone’s radio is no longer checking for signals, also Bluetooth and WiFi and other network settings are off.
“This stops a noticeable percentage of battery usage and allows us to slightly increase the charging speed of our phones.”
Another said: “Commenting here after testing this trick with my phone. It really worked for me… the difference was 4 minutes.”
Others have claimed that the fastest way to charge your iPhone is through the Lightning cables provided by Apple.
Experts have advised iPhone owners to buy a quality cable – and don’t the cheapest you can find online.
The cable should be MFi – aka Made for iPhone – certified.
If a decent charger is already handy, experts have urged iPhone users to turn off their phones or turn on airplane mode to speed up charging.
This means iPhones aren’t distracted by updating apps, playing music, and receiving messages or calls, which can slow down charging speeds.
Another hack is to turn down the iPhone brightness – or alternatively switch to dark mode.
It is because we have covered other simple hacks that will speed up your iPhone charging time.
You should not use your phone while it is charging.
When you plug it in to charge, you’re juicing the battery.
However, if you are on the phone at the same time, it will consume electricity.
So if you avoid using your phone while it’s charging, the handset will boot up faster.
Another method to reduce your iPhone charging time is to use an iPad charger.
Charging your iPhone from a laptop or computer (using a USB cable) is very energy efficient – only 2.5 watts.

A standard iPhone charger that you received in the original box is slightly better and offers 5 watts of power.
But an iPad charger offers a whopping 12 watts of power.
