YouTube music to have HomePod integration soon

YouTube offers support for Siri control and streaming for HomePod owners and YouTube Music users.
Apple began offering music platforms native support for the HomePod with the launch of iOS 14, but there was a largely unreceptive audience at the time. This time, supported services are expected to increase, including YouTube Music. An X user recently discovered a code in the YouTube Music app that refers to “ytm connect with homepod,” indicating that there will be future updates.

Once the code and update are implemented, users will be able to command Siri to play YouTube Music through the app. Once added to the app settings, the service becomes a media option via the Home app and brings Siri commands into play by default.
The case for owning or purchasing a HomePod mini or HomePod becomes stronger when this feature is implemented.
