PUSHING the FIRST of mirrors that are hung overhead or are simply large can be a daunting task when it comes to cleaning – but one expert doesn’t think that needs to be.
Cleaning expert and self-titled “YouTube mom” Mai Zimmy has revealed her trick for reaching even the highest corners of a mirror.

“This window and mirror cleaning trick is the best,” she blurts out step by step videotapes posted to her TikTok page.
“All you need is a Swiffer mop, glass cleaner of your choice, and a microfiber polishing cloth.”
First, she sprayed the cleaning product on the mirror.
Next, Mai attaches the cloth to the bottom of the mop by securing it to the holes where the Swiffer pad is normally attached.
“There may be some protrusion as that will dry in the second pass,” she notes.
In the end, she just needed to take a cloth to clean the mirror and use a mop to reach it.
“Just like a professional window cleaner, you can clean and polish mirrors, glass, anything,” she says.
“And it was easy.”
Some of Mai’s followers praised her trick, with one admitting that she wondered why she never thought of the hack.
“Great for short people like me!!” The second TikToker commented.
Mai’s social media is devoted to showing off her life and sharing parenting, cleaning, and organizing tips with her followers.
Previously, she admitted that she doesn’t fold the laundry for her kids because she thinks there are better ways to spend her time.
“Honestly, my three-year-old might care less that I don’t fold his clothes,” she says.
