You wash your bras wrong – this is how you prevent the wires from falling out

SAFE, there’s no worse feeling than your favorite bra becoming a deformed mess.

Mbali Nhlapho, owner of cleaning service Sisters at Work, is no stranger to this sentiment and told viewers how to extend the longevity of their bras.

On her TikTok, Nhlapho first showed off a bra that was washed in the washing machine without proper care as a clear example of what not to do.

The damaged, “off-shape” bra had its underwire sticking out through the corner, every woman’s worst nightmare.

The lingerie expert then explained how to properly wash your bra to ensure the underwires don’t pierce and puncture the fabric.

To make your bras last longer and stay in good shape, she suggested putting your bra in a laundry bag or pillowcase before washing.

“And draw attention to the fact that the water you use is cold water,” she added.

The viewers of the video expressed their gratitude in the comments.

Wearing a strappy bra over a white t-shirt, Warling demonstrated how to make the straps disappear.

She started by lifting a strap and looping it over her head, ending on the opposite shoulder.

Then she pulled her arm out of the strap so it was positioned under her armpit and across the width of her chest.

The steps were then repeated with the second strap.

Both straps were now tight across her chest, Hannah picked them up and placed them over the cups to hold them in place and prevent them from moving.

Social media users were very happy with the handy hack.
