TikTok user Liam who runs the account whatsgrowinon, often shares his simple gardening tips with his 63,000 strong followers.
In a recent video, which has received over 400,000 views, the gardener reveals a trick to growing plants without digging.
Speaking in the video, he explains: “Did you know that you don’t have to dig or dig?
“First, you want to collect your old cardboard boxes and make sure they don’t have tape on them, you want to use boxes with as little ink as possible.
“Place them in the desired shape you want your flowerbed to be, making sure they overlap
“If it’s your lawn or long lawn, give it a strip or mowed grass first, then get nice, wet cardboard.

“Pick a few holes in the cardboard with a fork or knife to allow the water to drain a bit, and then begin to top with topsoil or compost.
