Then just let it sit for 30 minutes.
Next, take your 2p coin and rub the tray with the coin in a circular motion to cut through the layers of shredded paper.
Finally, rinse the baking tray with the washed fat.
For a final wash to ensure all dirt is removed, place the tray in the dishwasher.
Don’t try this trick on non-stick pans as it could damage their sensitive coating.
To prevent dirt build-up before it gets worse, try using parchment baking paper on your tray if possible to avoid burning from liquids, grease, and oils.
You can even buy reusable lined trays that are more eco-friendly than disposable baking tins.
Soak the oven tray in hot soapy water immediately after use to wash away cooking grease.
