LeBron James and the LA Lakers suffered their third consecutive defeat last Tuesday Phoenix Suns. The Lakers are back to a .500 record and it got even worse because James injured his ankle in the game.

LeBron James had a great game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, scoring 24 points with seven rebounds and two assists. However, that was not enough when the Suns had a 108-90 victory over the Lakers. The match was tight in the first half, but the Suns enjoyed a hugely successful third and took the lead in the fourth.

It was an all-team effort for Phoenix, with seven players scoring double figures. The Suns are led by Devin Booker, who has 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. DeAndre Ayton added 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Chris Paul had 11 points and 9 assists.

Meanwhile, LeBron James barely has any help other than Russell Westbrook and Trevor Ariza. Westbrook had 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists, while Ariza scored 12 points in the second game of the season.

Isaiah Thomas, who played his third game since returning to the NBA, had the worst night of his career. He shot 1-1 from the field, taking a free throw for three points. Talen Horton-Tucker also had trouble shooting 1-1.

With Anthony Davis out for a month with a knee injury, the LA Lakers will be counting on LeBron James a lot more. James has a minor ankle injury, but looks set to be ready for their next game against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. The Lakers are just 16-16 this season and are currently seventh on the Western Conference standings.
