WWE Superstar Liv Morgan isn’t offended by Undertaker’s comments about the younger generation.
Soon-to-be Hall of Famer Undertaker recently explained that with a few exceptions, like Brock Lesnar, the current roster lacks a certain level of guts because young wrestlers grew up in a “superhero era.”
Morgan respects Taker’s opinion, but believes this is a new age where people like different things, including grit, and allows them to still put together a “great product.”
Morgan told SunSport: “Whatever Deadman wants to say, I don’t think anyone is going to argue with him.
“But I just feel like we’re in a different time. Everyone will like something different. He loves the grit, he loves that grit of Brock Lesnar, some fans love the superheroic performance that the younger generation will give them.
“I don’t know, I have a feeling everyone will like something different, I’m not offended by what he said. I feel like we have launched a great product.
“Of course Brock Lesnar will be gritty, he’ll probably be a little grittier than a ricochet. Ricochet can do things Brock Lesnar can’t and vice versa. I think it really depends on what you’re looking for and what you like.”
Morgan is now solely focused on this weekend’s WrestleMania 38, where she will team up with Rhea Ripley to challenge WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Carmella and Queen Zelina in a fatal 4-way match involving Sasha Banks and Naomi as well as Natalya and Shayna Baszler includes .
The RAW star knows a lot about tag team wrestling after her stint with The Riott Squad, where she teamed up with Sarah Logan and Ruby Soho – formerly known as Ruby Riott.
The 27-year-old grappler is still unsure why the group suddenly broke up in 2019, but is now fully committed to her tag team with Ripley.
Morgan added: “Honestly, I don’t know if there was an idea [behind The Riott Squad’s break-up]. I think maybe it was just time for something new, a change. Also at this time Ruby had to undergo surgery on a double shoulder.
“It was very sudden, we had no idea until the day everyone else found out. We don’t find out before everyone else, we don’t get any warnings.
“I feel like a different competitor now than I did when I was with The Riott Squad. I don’t think Rhea is anything like Ruby or Sarah. Maybe a bit aesthetically, I have a feeling that maybe our gear or vibe would resemble Riott Squad-esque. I feel like we’re a bit like Riot, even though we’re not. But I have a feeling it’s all new. It all feels somehow new.
“I feel like the chemistry is just natural. From the very first night we tagged together, I feel like momentum was established right away. We knew right away that we would compliment each other. It was very easy, very natural.”

WrestleMania always has a strong celebrity factor and this year will be no different as YouTuber and boxer Logan Paul teams up with The Miz against Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik.
Morgan has never met Paul but is excited to have him with him and see what he can bring to the table as WWE is new to him.
She added: “I don’t know what the boys think of him. As for the girls, we’re too busy stealing the show, but I’m very lucky to have him. We’re all curious how he does it, he’s experienced in combat.
“He’s fairly new to professional wrestling, to sports entertainment, to WWE. We don’t really know what he’s going to bring to the table, so I guess we’ll all find out.”
WrestleMania looks set to be another big night for the women as Ronda Rousey returns to the Show of Shows for the first time in three years to challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
Morgan believes Rousey had such a big impact on the women’s division that she pushed everyone to up their game.
She said: “She brings her fan base with her, brings different eyes to our product. People who have been fans of UFC and her whole unmatched run there want to see how she fares here. I feel like [in] Her last run, she was so natural. She literally just walked in and she was already amazing. I love that about her.
“But she just gets everyone to up their game. You know when Ronda comes she will be strong, she will be a complicated part of the division. [She] somehow keeps everyone on their toes [she] keeps everyone on a higher level.”
Morgan is hoping to soon return to cover art herself after failing to win the RAW women’s title from Becky Lynch on RAW last year and on the first day of last New Year.
But the American wrestler learned some important lessons from the experience and now knows what it takes to wrestle a superstar of Lynch’s caliber.
Morgan said, “I just feel like I’m putting on performances that people haven’t seen, that they didn’t necessarily think I was in. So I was just really excited just to show everyone what I knew about myself That I could hang with the best And had to cheat them every time!
“[I learned] Just what it takes to be in the ring with someone at that level. I had to improve my game in every way because I didn’t want to match her, I wanted to be better than her.
“It was sort of my first taste of the main event spotlight on this single. We ran RAW as the main event, we had the only women’s match in this brand new pay-per-view to start the new year. So even though it wasn’t going my way, I’m still very proud and happy about that experience.”
