It’s NOT just WWE superstars trying to make sure they stay in great shape – so are the staff behind the mic.
Fans are used to the fact that wrestlers working for Vince McMahon regularly share snaps of their cracked bodies.
And everyone knows that the WWE boss is a man who loves to promote big and muscular performers on both the Raw and SmackDown brands.
However, ‘Voice of WWE’ Michael Cole seems to have absorbed some training tips from those same athletes.
And the results are nothing short of sensational.
The 51-year-old calls the act of playing the brand in blue and this year was named the company’s Vice President of Publications.
But it’s not just his legendary voice that makes the punch after he’s gone through a Impressive body transformation Drop the stone 4.5 times to turn his body into a beautiful shredding machine.
Fans will remember when Cole famously competed against Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler at WrestleMania 28 and mocked his looks when he won a controversial victory over the ring legend.
But now commentators are considering the athlete after his huge weight loss.
And he revealed all about his motivation that led to him working with coach Jesse Marines of jmprogram.com to transform.
Cole said WWE.com two years ago: “It was a perfect storm. All factors at once last October; As I get older, on weekly TV, my metabolism slows down, I feel unhappy when I look at myself in the mirror and my energy isn’t what it used to be.
I was climbing, and the big mountain we were trying to climb was Grand Teton in Wyoming. We had snowed off the mountain at 12,500 feet, and even if we hadn’t, I knew inside that I wouldn’t be able to complete the climb. I know I’m not strong enough to do that. All of that combined made me realize that I needed to make some changes in my life.
He continued: “I started at 226 pounds with 29.9% body fat and as of today, 11 months later, I weigh 169 pounds with 6.5% body fat.
“I lost 65 pounds, but I gained a little bit of weight because we changed our diet and added some calories.
“I feel better now at 48 than I did at 21.”
And Cole even asserted that with the help of the Marines, his incredible physical transformation was easy.
Although he said that the total tee shot plays an important role.
He added: “I’m working with a coach in McAllen, Texas, named Jesse Marines.
“He came up with a basic program for me to start with where I did cardio 2-3 times a week and weightlifted with him 2-3 times a week.
“He gave me a simple diet to follow and since my diet was so terrible it was pretty easy.
“I ate a lot of carbs; a bagel for breakfast, a sandwich roll with fries for lunch, and for dinner I’ll have potatoes with whatever else I’m eating.
“Another big thing for me is that I love drinking beer. I’m a big beer drinker and those are very low calorie stuff. I haven’t had a drink since we started this program almost a year ago.
“Jesse’s show isn’t really about dieting. That is increasing the meals to eat six times a day every three hours and three of those meals are protein shakes.
“The other three meals are chicken breast, green vegetables and rice or sweet potatoes to provide carbohydrates. Sometimes, I’ll eat egg whites and turkey bacon.
“We just wanted to make sure I was eating six times a day to kickstart my metabolism. You have to eat to lose weight.
“We then slowly cut back on my carbs and recently exhausted all carbs for the photos in this article. I haven’t had a drink since we started this program.”
