There has been speculation that The Beast will exit Vince McMahon’s promotion next month after his WrestleMania match with Omos at SoFi Stadium in Hollywood.
Rumors also suggest the MMA icon said goodbye to staff and colleagues backstage ahead of the Showcase of the Immortals.
Angle insists the 10-time world champion deserves to go on his own terms after all his successes in every promotion he’s been in, such as WWE, UFC and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The American is also known as a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and fellow WWE player Sable and their four children while hunting and fishing at his home in Canada.
When asked if he was surprised by the speculation that Lesnar is retiring, Angle told Rewind Recap Relive, “No.
“I think Brock has done as much as he could in his career, UFC Champion, NCAA Champion, WWE Champion, IWGP Champion.
“I think he did everything he wanted to do. I think he made more than enough money.
“And this guy likes to spend time with his family and go hunting and fishing.

“This is how I would imagine Brock going to live the rest of his life. This will make him happy and I think he deserves it.
“I think he’s worked hard enough and made enough money that he’ll be fine for the rest of his life.”
Lesnar and Angle, 1996 Olympic champions, had a classic rivalry in 2003 that led to their legendary clash at WrestleMania 19.
