And while he admitted you can’t beat the adrenaline rush you get from performing, he knows his body can’t take it anymore.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame with Booker T and Brad Gilmore podcast, he said resolutely, “I’m done man. I’m done this time. I’m serious.
“That rumble, it let me know, man. The adrenaline I got from it, the rush, you know what a rush it was, you never get tired of it.
“It never gets old. It never gets old!

“But the old body does. The old body man, you can’t try that hard.
“A man must know his limits.”
Assuming Booker T doesn’t suddenly change his mind later, his last in-ring appearance was a memorable one when he performed his “Spinaroonie” in front of over 51,000 fans at the Alamodome.
A six-time world champion, fourteen-time Tag Teag champion, and two-time Triple Crown champion, including his two WCW and WWE titles, he will go down as one of the greatest athletes in wrestling history.
But his influence on the sport is far from over.
It was announced on Saturday that his promotion and training company, Reality of Wrestling, will be collaborating with the NXT series.
reality of wrestling tweeted: “Reality of Wrestling takes the list to the NEXT level!
“We’re proud to announce that we’ll be working with NXT to bring our fans incredible match-ups they can’t see anywhere else.”
