The WWE legend was taken into custody on charges of making terroristic threats and illegal possession of firearms, TMZ have learned.

According to court records, Sytch was arrested at the Monmouth County Jail at 11 a.m. on January 13.

And although court records do not specify how the alleged crime was committed, Sytch was charged with two counts of illegal possession of a weapon and one count of making a terroristic threat.

TMZ notes that the alleged weapon does not appear to be a firearm.

According to New Jersey’s Criminal Justice Code: “A person commits a third degree offence if he threatens to commit any violent crime with the intent to terrorize another person or to evacuate a building, gathering place or public transport facility, or to cause serious public inconvenience, or despite the threat of terrorism or such inconvenience.

“Violation of this subsection is a second-degree crime if it occurs during a declared national, state, or county emergency. , state or county emergency.”
