WWE Superstar Aliyah has been busy posting a series of glamorous pictures while nursing a secret injury.

The Canadian grappler hasn’t appeared on television since she and tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL.

The 27-year-old and Rodriguez came up short at RAW a month ago and the former NXT star revealed she sustained an injury mid-game.

The SmackDown ace has sustained a rib injury and doesn’t know when she’ll be back in action.

But she insists it was an important learning curve as she found out how tough she really is to finish the match despite the agony she was in.

Aliyah posted on Instagram, “It’s been a month so I’m coming straight from the horse’s mouth:

“I have to say my last match was probably one of my favorites. And I want to thank my tag partner Raquel and Damage CTRL and everyone involved.

“Yes, I was injured mid-game, but I’m overwhelmingly grateful for the incident because I felt like it brought out a version of me I didn’t even know existed.

“‘Move on!’ I remember thinking, ‘I never get opportunities like this,’ yelled another voice in my head, so idc I’m gonna go ahead and keep showing myself.”

“The emotions and energy I was feeling in that moment really enlightened me inside and I felt INDESTRUCTIBLE in that moment (yes, with a raised first rib and an AC sprain and all.)

“I am very grateful to have the privilege of doing what I do and I hope that my passion and efforts have reached beyond your television screen.

“I don’t know what the future holds or when I’ll be back. But I just want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out. I can’t wait to get back in the ring.”

Aliyah’s statement prompted numerous messages of support from other WWE Stars.

Rodriguez wrote: “You are INDESTRUCTIBLE. I can’t wait to have you back in the ring by my side, mi chiquita.”

Santana Garrett said, “Sending you love, light and all the healing energy!”

And ex-WWE star Nia Jax posted: “You are amazing.”

Aliyah has been working hard to get back in the ring but still found time to share some updates to her 477,000 followers on Instagram.
