World Cup 2022 – England vs. Iran: Date, TV channel, live stream and kick-off time for the first game of the Three Lions in Qatar

ENGLAND begin their 2022 World Cup season with a clash against unloved Group B opponents Iran later this month.
The Three Lions’ last World Cup campaign came to an agonizing end when they lost 2-1 to Croatia in the semi-finals of Russia 2018.

But four years later and with a Euro 2020 final under their belt, Gareth Southgate’s men are finally looking to clear the very last hurdle.
It has been 56 years since England won their first and only World Cup and expectations of the team continue to rise every four years.
Iran will be their first test before further clashes with rivals Wales and World Cup 2010 group rivals USA in the group stage.
This tournament could be crucial for Southgate, who could see the Qatar spectacle as his last chance to finally win big trophies as the England boss.
