Woodley says he ‘dived’ in the Jake Paul rematch but insists it wasn’t ‘on purpose’ as he was ‘sticky with some s**t’

FORMER’s UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has sarcastically announced that he ‘understood’ in his rematch with Jake Paul.
The chosen one is already at the receiving end KO virus in the sixth round in his second clash with the YouTuber, which some observers say has been fixed.
Woodley, 39, has seen claims he was paid to take a ‘dive’ and jokingly concurs with his detractors – insisting his erection of the picture was the end The result of Paul being at the right time.
In an appearance on Time MMA, he joked: “Yeah, I’ve disappeared.
“But it wasn’t intentional, that bastard hit me a few times.”
Woodley became the focus of a number of jokes after the first KO loss of his combat sports career, with several of his fellow MMA fighters also opening fire.
But the Missouri auto mechanic insists Paul can do a lot better than that.
“A lot of people are saying, ‘Oh, you lost to him again. You’re down,” he said.
“He’s really going to f**ka a lot.
“MMA fighters and others are just bumping their gums. He’s an athletic kid with no job but this.
“He has no children, no business that he runs.
“He can have the best coaches, the best coaches, the best nutrition, the most focus – he can set himself apart.
“He has no financial burden. Most of the MMA fighters, when we first start, we don’t have the money. We do what we can.
“We get whatever training we get that can help us see the future in this.”
Woodley made peace with a spectacular defeat to the former Disney star but still couldn’t help but lament the split second he dropped his left hand in the sixth stanza.
He asked: “Why man? Why did I put my hand down at that time.”
The former Strikeforce star later said: “If I hadn’t let go of that hand, if I had kept fighting the way it was, we’d be looking at something different.
“So I just had to, you know, swallow it and keep it going.”
Woodley has vowed not to hang up his gloves after a devastating loss and is now aiming to take on former UFC welterweight challenger Dan Hardy.
