Nationwide Ladies’s Soccer League (NWSL) Commissioner Lisa Baird resigned on Friday following allegations of abuse levied in opposition to league coaches.
“The Nationwide Ladies’s Soccer league on Friday has obtained and accepted Lisa Baird’s resignation as its commissioner,” the league stated in a press release posted to Twitter.

The resignation is the most recent twist within the scandal surrounding sexual harassment inside the league.
