Brockton, Massachusetts — A girl who says she was burned by “scalding” scorching espresso at a Brockton Dunkin’ Donuts location is suing the native proprietor of the shop and two staff there who allegedly mocked her accidents, CBS Boston reports.
Angela Barbosa filed the lawsuit in Plymouth Superior Courtroom earlier this month.
She says she was within the passenger’s seat of her sister’s automotive in June of 2020 after they pulled as much as the Dunkin’ drive-thru at evening and ordered three scorching coffees.
She claims an worker handed her sister espresso cups that weren’t positioned firmly within the tray, and that the new drinks weren’t correctly capped. They got here free and tipped over onto Barbosa, burning her legs and buttocks, in keeping with the go well with.
“Screaming in ache, the Plaintiff was pressured to tear off her leggings within the car parking zone, exposing herself in full view of the Dunkin’ Donuts staff,” the lawsuit states. “Seeing this, the workers had been pointing, laughing, and mocking the plaintiff.”
