It can be difficult to teach children about their bodies.
Many parents do not know how to approach the discussion.
This educator used TikTik to help parents in the form of a popular song.
Holly-Ann educates and educates parents specifically about protecting children and shared the strange song with her followers.
The rhymer changed the words to the children’s classic “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”
Add the text: “Penis on most boys, vulva on most girls, bop down, stand up, do a little twirl.”
She implored parents, “Teach children the names of their private parts.”
Her bizarre video caught her attention and has amassed over 400,000 views.
Some parents loved the remix for the song and were quick to praise Holly-Ann’s efforts.
“Thanks for that! We need to normalize using these words to protect our little ones,” said one.
Another said: “I love the right terms and the use of ‘most’.”
“Everyone else is shocked by this because they’ve never familiarized themselves with it and it’s so important,” one parent commented.
And another said: “I was so impressed by a four year old who once told me the correct names, all children should know the correct words!”
However, not everyone liked the song: “I will not sing a song about private parts, it is not necessary.”
One MP shared: “It’s all fun and games until they sing that in kindergarten and get mocked to the depths of hell.”
Another quipped: “Absolutely not.”
“Am I the only one who finds that strange? I teach kids the right terms, but I think that’s going a little too far,” admitted one confused parent.
