‘Witch Somebody Else’ – Brazilian star Dani Alves has to correct OWN CLUB after horror start in Mexico and is recovering from injury

BRAZIL star Dani Alves has been forced to rectify his OWN CLUB, Pumas, after they claimed he had picked up a serious knee injury.

The most successful footballer in history, 39, suffered a stroke in training and, as a precaution, did not travel to the Pumas’ Mexican League MX clash with Juarez.

Pumas said in a statement: “Dani Alves will not be (available) due to an injury to the medial collateral ligament of his right knee, which is still being evaluated by the club’s medical team.”

Such an injury would all but end Alves’ hopes of a final World Cup for Brazil later this year.

And so Alves took to Twitter to correct his OWN CLUB.

The Barcelona legend tweeted: “For God’s sake they’re going to rip another one out!

“My friend Diogo beat me in training and as a precaution I didn’t travel.”

Cougars were then forced to rectify their previous claim of a knee injury.

The latter said in a statement: “In order to clear up the misunderstanding surrounding the injury of our player Dani Alves, the Landesuniversitätsklub reports: The player received a hit on the knee at the end of training and, as a precaution, did not travel to FC Juarez.

“The injury requires basic treatment and rest.

“Due to a lack of communication and the team’s trip to Ciudad Juarez, incorrect information was released.

“We apologize to Dani Alves for this mistake.”

Alves has not had the best starts in Mexico after arriving on a free transfer in the summer.

The soccer legend was booed by his own fans every time he touched the ball against Laguna last month.

He was at fault for one of the goals, and opposing players had him on skates.

Still, Alves dreams of playing for Brazil at the World Cup one last time.

But he would have to prove he’s ahead of top talent like Eder Militao and Roger Ibanez.
