Winston Salem shooting in North Carolina sees cops attack target after ‘shots were fired in store’

CHAOS unfolded at a destination in North Carolina on Tuesday after reports of a shooting at the store.
Cops surrounded the Winston-Salem Target store after a “gun disorder,” police said in an update.

That Winston Salem Police Department said on Twitter that a victim was at the Hanes Mall Boulevard store but was not shot.
Local FOX affiliate WGHP reported that a call came in about a shooting at the store around 8:32 p.m. local time.
A shopper told the news outlet she was in Target with her daughter when they heard a loud bang.
People seemed to be panicking and everyone was rushing forward, she said. Your daughter ran off so quickly she left her shoes behind.
A heavy police presence was outside the store when the Winston-Salem Police Department and the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office flooded the scene.
Local residents have been asked to avoid the area.
