William Shatner’s journey to area should wait.
Blue Origin announced on Sunday that its mission operations group determined to push the launch again by someday — from Tuesday till Wednesday — due to forecasted winds.
The launch — which may have Shatner on board together with Blue Origin Vice President of Mission & Flight Operations Audrey Powers and crewmates Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries — is now scheduled for Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. central time from Launch Website One in West Texas.
The corporate mentioned its missions operations group confirmed on Sunday that the car getting used for the sojourn has met its mission necessities, and the astronauts have began their coaching.
“Climate is the one gating issue for the launch window,” the corporate added.
Blue Origin introduced final week that Shatner, 90, who is understood for his portrayal of Captain Kirk on “Star Trek,” can be blasting into space on the corporate’s newest mission.

Shatner, in a press release final week, known as the chance to launch into area “a miracle.”
“I’ve heard about area for a very long time now. I’m taking the chance to see it for myself. What a miracle,” Shatner mentioned.
