Winchester Thurston Student Urges Leaders To Do More After Snapchat Mocks George Floyd’s Death – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Students of a local prep school are calling for their leadership to take action after a Snapchat video emerged mocking the death of George Floyd.

Winchester Thurston students say they are upset that school administrators have not responded to the racist video.

In a letter to parents, the head of the school said they are investigating and planning to meet with students of color to offer support.

Many people still feel this is not enough.
