Wilshere’s stunning reaction after fan reveals his Football Manager ‘gambled’ on failed ex-Arsenal star

A FOOTBALL addict who complained about signing Jack Wilshere was surprised to receive a hilarious verdict on the deal from the man himself.
Arsenal icon Wilshere, 30, showed his great sense of humour as he took part in the transfer debate.

Footy Manager players tweeted that they took a risk by signing Wilshere in the game… only because the midfielder suffered a long-term injury almost immediately.
They said: “Gamble with Jack Wilshere in FM22. 4 apps then he launched in 3 months.
“Then he complained about me not signing enough people in midfield.
“He wanted to move without realizing he was going to have medical failure no matter where he went.


“I also have an injury release clause for him but I want him to suffer at U23.”
However, Wilshere saw the humorous side when he gave his thoughts on the virtual transfer.
Wilshere said: “Poor management if you ask me. Can’t lie this makes me laugh. ”
The player’s social media entry comes after he secured a real-life move last month.

Having not played for a club since leaving Bournemouth in 2021, Wilshere is wanted on a free transfer by Danish side AGF.
The whiz has been maintaining his fitness by training with his old team Arsenal.
However, Wilshere’s debut didn’t go as planned as his new side suffered a shock loss to small side Vejle – with the headlights also failing.
But Mikel Arteta insists Wilshere will always be welcome back to Arsenal, marking a trump card for a future in coaching.
Arteta said: “100 percent [I see him back here coaching].


“Everyone at the club will gladly open the door for him and try to find him a role that can work for everyone.
“I think that will happen naturally in the future.”
