Two of our favorite actors are teaming up for a new comedic thriller on Peacock.
William Jackson Harper (Good place) and Cristin Milioti (For love) is set to asterisk in Resort, TVLine found out. A mystery set on the Maya Riviera, Resort stars Harper and Milioti as married teachers Noah and Emma, they go on an anniversary tour and find themselves caught up in a strange unsolved mystery that happened 15 years earlier.
The project is also a Palm Springs reunited: That film’s screenwriter Andy Siara will act as creator and co-presenter of the film, reuniting him with Milioti. Allison Miller (Angelyne) will serve as co-presenter and EP, along with Sam Esmail (Robot Mr., Come home).
Skyler Gisondo (Righteous Gems) has also been cast as a regular drama, playing a guy who is on vacation with his parents and girlfriend at the same resort. Ben Sinclair (High maintenance) and Parvesh Cheena (Crazy ex-girlfriend) have also been cast in recurring roles.
Harper recently starred in Season 2 of HBO Max’s rom-com anthology Love this life. He also plays philosophy nerd Chidi on NBC’s . Good place for all four seasons, winning an Emmy for best supporting actor in a comedy in 2020.
Milioti currently plays runaway wife Hazel on HBO’s sci-fi comedy Max For love, has been renewed for a second season. She is also known for playing the famous mother on CBS’ How I meet your Mother and for her roles on Black mirror and Fargo.
