SOME Americans will get stimulus payments this week – but it depends on where you live.
Some of those payments include stimulus test.
We list the states and cities that will and may be sending stimulus payments this week.
One state with specific information about the stimulus program is California.
Under Golden State Stimulus II program, it is estimated that a total of nine million Californians will receive checks for up to $1,100 before the end of the year.
This area will continue to accept payments until December 17.
The next check will be sent to 720-927 between December 13 and the end of the year.
California residents earning less than $75,000 per year, who filed their 2020 taxes by October 15, are eligible for the payment.
In the middle of last month, residents of Maine start receiving stimulus payments.
$285 one-time payments will go to more half a million inhabitants and continue throughout the year.
It is said that 100.00 payments will be sent out every week.
Maine has yet to confirm how many regions will receive the cash, so we’ll update this post once we get a response.
To qualify, single applicants need to earn less than $75,000 a year and couples earn $150,000 or less.
A city in California, Santa Ana, started distributing $300 worth of visa debit cards over the weekend.
NS Orange County Register announced that the card will be delivered to the door from December 4.
The rest of the schedule isn’t clear – but 20,000 low-income Santa Ana residents are poised to receive the cards.
The city did not respond to our request for comment.
To qualify for assistance, rental poverty rates must be above the Santa Ana average of 42%.
