On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, the golf fan took to Twitter to announce that he would be returning to the world of golf.

Why did Tiger Woods take a hiatus?
In February 2021, Tiger Woods was involved in a horrific car accident in which he narrowly escaped death.
The car Woods was driving took a worse turn as it hit 85 mph.
After deviating from the road, the car flipped several times and trapped the golf legend inside.
After the collision, Woods had to be amputated from the car and suffered a broken right leg that was almost impossible to amputate after the accident.

Tiger Woods and his son will compete at the PNC Championship on December 18, 2021.

“I went through a lot of pain, and although I was able to walk into my room today without crutches, sitting here, my legs still hurt. And my back hurts,” Woods told reporters.
“I’m playing the role of a dad and couldn’t be more excited and proud,” Woods concluded.
