GOLF legend Tiger Woods has had to take a professional hiatus through 2021 due to a horrific accident that nearly claimed his life.
Woods has continued to recover and he is taking certain steps to get back into the golf light.

Tiger Woods confirmed that he will play in PNC Championship 2021 in Orlando, beginning December 18.
Supporting Woods’ return will be the 12-year-old boy Charlie’s son, one of two children he shares with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren.
On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, the golf fan took to Twitter to announce that he would be returning to the world of golf.
“Although it has been a long and challenging year, I am delighted to end it by competing in the PNC Championship with my son, Charlie,” Woods tweeted.
Why did Tiger Woods take a hiatus?
In February 2021, Tiger Woods was involved in a horrific car accident in which he narrowly escaped death.
The car Woods was driving took a worse turn as it hit 85 mph.
After deviating from the road, the car flipped several times and trapped the golf legend inside.
After the collision, Woods had to be amputated from the car and suffered a broken right leg that was almost impossible to amputate after the accident.
Will Tiger Woods Compete on Any PGA Tour?
Tiger Woods and his son will compete at the PNC Championship on December 18, 2021.
The championship will include major golf personalities and their children participating in a two-day event to watch parents and their children play over 36 holes.
“I went through a lot of pain, and although I was able to walk into my room today without crutches, sitting here, my legs still hurt. And my back hurts,” Woods told reporters.
“I’m playing the role of a dad and couldn’t be more excited and proud,” Woods concluded.
