The championship featured eminent golfers and their children competing in a two-day, 36-hole event.

“I’ve had to go through a lot of pain and although today I was able to walk into the room without crutches, my leg still hurts as I sit here. And my back hurts,” Woods told the press.

“I’m playing as a dad and I couldn’t be more excited and proud,” concluded Woods.

Why did Tiger Woods take a break?
