Will there be another season on Netflix?

Normally, fans are never happy when it’s only one season of a show, so it’s not surprising that many are already looking to the future and wondering if there is one heat season 2 is on the horizon. The Mexican crime telenovela series – which follows a sexy dancer-turned-undercover firefighter – was created by José Ignacio Valenzuela (Who killed Sara?), and received mixed reviews from critics upon its release.

With 39 episodes a plethora of juicy but chilling lines, long smoldering stares and plenty of shirtless moments, Netflix high heat sure made an impression on viewers. Will there be a High Heat Season 2 on Netflix?

As of this writing, Netflix has yet to announce whether it has been canceled or renewed high heat for season 2.

Given the mixed reviews, we’re not sure if the Mexican drama will return to the streamer as there’s no news at the moment and the end of the first season wrapped things up pretty well so it could be a standalone series. However it is quiet Start time. It’s been less than a month since the telenovela debuted on Netflix, so there’s still plenty of time before the streamer makes an official decision. It all depended on the overall reaction and how much the viewers are enjoying the series. According to What’s On Netflix, in the first three weeks of high heat Upon release, it “went well” as viewers slowly moved through the many episodes, but it was described as potentially “slow burning”, meaning it could pick up steam a bit later compared to other series.
