Will there be another season?

It’s finally time for a new season of lock and key on Netflix, but fans of the hit fantasy series will be wondering if lock and key Season 4 will be on the way after the Season 3 premiere.

Along with the April 2022 announcement that season 3 would be the final season, executive producers and showrunners Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill opened up about the decision to wrap up the Locke family storyline after three seasons. When they divided in a expression:

“When we began work on the series, we felt that three seasons was the ideal length to bring the story of the Locke family and their Keyhouse adventures to a satisfying conclusion. As storytellers, we are grateful that we had the opportunity to tell our version of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s incredible story exactly the way we wanted it to be. However, we keep the magic keys for our personal use.”

According to Cuse and Averill, a three-year run had always been part of the plan, although there are more than three issues in the comic book series written by Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel Rodríguez. However, given the ending, we’re sure the show will end the story in a suitable place with its final eight-episode season.
