Is Day Shift 2 happening?

As of August 10, Netflix hasn’t announced if there will be a sequel. However, chances are that there is one day shift 2 are cheap. The film has a surprisingly deep storyline surrounding its vampires, and the film’s ending sets the stage perfectly for a sequel.

It would also be fun to see a spin-off or prequel centered around supporting characters like Snoop Dogg’s character, Big John Elliott. While the main story is wrapped up by the end of the film, there’s definitely room for a sequel should the film do well for Netflix.

If a sequel were to happen, it could follow Bud, Seth, and Heather teaming up again to defeat more vampires. Since Big John is actually revealed to be alive at the end, it would be cool to see him return as well.

Also, now that Jocelyn knows the truth about vampires, it would be nice to see her and Bud get back together and be more honest with each other.
