Will there be a sequel to the Adam Sandler film?

After watching the feel-good sports drama Hurry with Adam Sandler,
Juancho Hernangómez, Ben Foster and Queen Latifah, you may be wondering if rush 2 is in the works at Netflix.

Spoilers ahead for Hurry

Hurry followed Sandler’s character Stanley Sugerman, a basketball scout with aspirations to coach his team, the Philadelphia 76ers. His chance is shattered at the last second when he is sent out to find a player who can help the Sixers win the NBA Championship.

Below we will look at the possibility of making Netflix rush 2.

Will there be a Hustle sequel?

There is no confirmation that Netflix currently has plans for a sequel, this is all just speculation. The film works quite well as a one-off. And all the movies Sandler has only done on Netflix thriller is getting a sequel so far, so make of it what you will.

What could Hustle 2 be about?

Since the film ends with Stanley becoming the official assistant coach of the Philadelphia 76ers and Bo being drafted into the Boston Celtics, we got to see the two cope with their new jobs and life.

Honestly I think Hurry ended in a nice place we don’t need a sequel but it might be interesting to see how Stanley and his family go from here. It would be nice to see more of his wife Teresa as I have a feeling Queen Latifah didn’t have much to do in the film. Perhaps a sequel could focus on her instead.

Otherwise, maybe Bo could mentor a new rising basketball star and help Stanley.

would you like to see rush 2? What would you like to happen if a sequel were made?
