Will there be a second season on Netflix?

The latest Netflix series from Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan The Observer is now streaming. Most people have already worked their way through the seven-part season and are wondering if there will be a second part. The Observer is a Netflix original series based on the true story of the Broaddus family. For the series, the family’s name was changed and some of the events that happened didn’t actually happen in real life.

The show follows the Brannocks, a family of four who receive mysterious letters from someone who calls themselves “The Watcher” after they move into their dream home.

Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale star as Nora and Dean Brannock. Other cast members include Jennifer Coolidge, Noma Dumezweni, Mia Farrow, Margo Martindale, Henry Hunter Hall, Richard Kind and Isabel Gravitt.

Is season 2 of The Watcher happening?

Unfortunately, The Observer Season 2 will most likely not take place as it is flagged as a limited series. A limited series usually consists of one season, and within that season a full story is told. If you watched The Observer From start to finish, you would know that the story pretty much comes to an end in the last episode. So the chances of the show returning for a second season are slim.
