The remarkable film is set in an indefinite future where pollution forces humans to adapt to a synthetic environment and mutation and transformation are the norm. In the dazzling tale, famed performance artist Saul Tenser publicly displays the metamorphosis of his organs in a wild performance.

This unnerving masterpiece stars an impressive cast of talent including Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux and Kristen Stewart. The film earned a solid Rotten Tomatoes score and received a six-minute standing ovation at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the coveted Palme d’Or.

Is Crimes of the Future available on Netflix?

There’s no doubt that Cronenberg’s bizarre film must be a high priority for many viewers, and it makes sense why people would want to know if it’s on the streamer. But unfortunately, crimes of the future is not an option on Netflix, and it’s currently unclear if that will ever change.
