Will Agatha and Tedros end up together?

Another great fantasy movie has arrived on Netflix The School of Good and Evil. It tells the story of two close friends as they make their way through a magical school of fairytale heroes and villains, finding themselves on opposing sides in the epic struggle between good and evil.

As you would expect from a film set around the world of fairy tales, love blossoms between some of the main characters. Yes, we are talking about a romance between Agatha and Tedros. However, they don’t like each other romantically at first. It’s kind of an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers situation. But do they end up together? Find out below!

spoilers ahead The School of Good and Evil.

When Agatha and Sophie are dropped off at the enchanted school, Sophie is sent to the school of evil and Agatha to the school of good. Remember, Sophie wanted to go to the School for Good and Agatha didn’t want to go to school at all. While Sophie spends her time trying to find a way to change schools, Agatha does whatever it takes to support her friend while trying to convince her to drop out.

Eventually, Sophie and Agatha discover that the way to get Sophie into the School for Good is for Sophie to win true love’s kiss. Sophie is convinced that her true love is Tedros and that she must kiss him to fulfill her wish. Then Sophie and Agatha come up with a plan to get Tedros to kiss her. But as Agatha gets to know Tedros better while helping Sophie, she begins to develop feelings for him.

We first note that Agatha started developing romantic feelings for Tedros during the power activation ceremony when they share an intimate moment. During the ceremony, Agatha trips and Tedros catches her before she can fall. They stare deeply into each other’s eyes and it’s obvious that they like each other. The other moment is when Agatha watches Tedros teach Sophie how to shoot an arrow. Much later in the film, Tedros confesses his love to Agatha, but she is unable to reciprocate as her focus is on saving Sophie. Despite this, there is an obvious love affair between the two. So do they end up together?

Will Agatha and Tedros end up in the School of Good and Evil together?

Unfortunately, Agatha and Tedros don’t get together. After defeating Rafal with Excalibur and waking Sophie with true love’s kiss, Agatha must make the decision of either returning home to Gavaldon with Sophie or staying at the enchanted school.

As they stand in front of the portal back to Gavaldon, Sophie tells Agatha that if she wants to be with Tedros, she should stay at the School of Good and Evil and that she will take care of her mother. Agatha thanks Sophie and then walks over to Tedros. She kisses him and makes us believe that she will stay, but in the end she tells him that she cannot leave her friend. Her final words to Tedros are that she hopes to see him again one day. Then she and Sophie walk hand in hand through the portal. Tedros yells at Agatha to wait, but she continues.

But have we seen the last of Agatha and Tedros? Well, it all depends on Netflix releasing a sequel. Agatha and Tedros obviously wanted to be together. The film’s final scene shows Tedros’ arrow piercing the maelstrom between the real world and the fairytale world, with Tedros’ voice echoing that he needs Agatha. Since an arrow made it from the fairytale world to the real world, it could mean that Tedros can enter the real world. The creators decided to end the film this way, hoping for a chance to create a sequel.

The School of Good and Evil is based on a book that is part of a book series that consists of six books. So there’s still a lot to talk about if Netflix would let it. We’ll just have to wait and see what the streamer decides.

The School of Good and Evil can be streamed on Netflix.
