Wildlife Cam Installed to Monitor Bald Eagle Nests in West Mifflin – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A new wildlife camera has been installed at an active bald eagle nest in West Mifflin.

PixCams shared the details of the installation process by posting photos on Facebook. They showed tree climber Rob Kruljac overhead, working to place oranges in a tree near the nest.
The camera was provided by US Steel as the nest is located outside their Irvin Plant.

It should be up and running in a few weeks.
This nest is nearly six miles upstream from the bald eagle Hays.
