Wife of rapist who switched genders before being sent to all-female prison brands changes ‘cheque for an easier life’
THE estranged wife of a trans rapist who was sent to an all-female prison said yesterday: “It’s a farce for a simpler life.”
Shonna Graham said gender switcher Isla Bryson never mentioned he was in the wrong body.

It comes as Bryson, 31, switched genders after appearing in the dock for raping two mothers as Adam Graham.
Bryson was found guilty at Glasgow High Court and is awaiting his verdict.
Shonna, 31, who married then-Graham in 2016, said: “His gender switch is a sham for attention and an easier life in prison.
“When I saw the photos of him dressed as a woman with a blonde wig and pink lycra leggings, I fell out of bed laughing.”
Shonna, from Falkirk, Scotland, who is seeking a divorce after a brief failed marriage, said her husband had been abusive and that locking Bryson up with women was “outrageous”.
She said: “He won’t stop. It’s in his nature.”
The decision to transfer Bryson added pressure to Scotland’s trans law controversy.
The law allows anyone over the age of 16 to change their gender without medical approval.
Critics fear that predators would gain access to female-only rooms.
