Why was Marvin replaced in Big Brother?
Mavin Achi, 28, was originally set to be one of the random houseguests on Big Brother season 24.
A day before the season premiere, CBS announced on Twitter that he would not be on the show.
Achi is replaced by Joseph, a 24-year-old attorney from Lake Worth, Florida.
Big Brother’s Twitter wrote: “🚨 Important casting update! Marvin will no longer be one of our house guests this season of Big Brother. We’re excited to welcome Joseph, a 24-year-old attorney from Lake Worth, FL, to our #BB24 cast!”

Though CBS didn’t release details as to why Marvin was removed from the cast, online detectives speculate it was due to his appearances on other shows.
Marvin is also a contestant on the hit competition show America’s Got Talent.
There is speculation on social media that Marvin had to honor his commitments to AGT and leave Big Brother.
During the second week of AGT, Marvin appeared on the show and received three votes in his favor from the judges.
It’s also been speculated that the reason Marvin had to leave Big Brother was because he was on a “talent hold” at AGT, reports Distractify.
A “talent hold” means Marvin may be on a hold on AGT and he is currently unable to appear on other shows.
Neither Marvin nor CBS confirmed the details of why he had to leave Big Brother.
Others online are speculating that NBC heard about Marvin’s potential appearance on Big Brother and wanted him to stay on AGT.
