Why isn’t Bam Margera in the Jackass Forever trailer?

The Jackass Forever trailer shows Knoxville disguised as a bird being shot out of a huge cannon.

However, Jackass stalwart Bam Margera was noticeably absent from the trailer.

Margera said he was not involved with Jackass 4 in a video posted to social media in 2021 that was removed, according to Movieweb.

“If someone cares about me, don’t watch their movie,” Margera said, according to the outlet.

He’s also asking fans to send him money with Venmo so he can “blow them out of the water.”

Margera said he was fired from the film for being an “ass” and hinted that he was contemplating suicide, the outlet reported.

Margera told TMZ, “What’s the point of a $5 million contract where I have to walk on eggshells and jump through your hoops — which is already impossible — to obey when I’m dead?”

On Sunday, May 23, Margera took to Instagram with claims that his Jackass co-stars and friends treated him badly.

“My family – Jackass – betrayed me, rejected me, abandoned me,” Margera said in the new clip.

“Not all of them. I love them all and they love me back. But especially Jeff Tremaine and Johnny Knoxville.

“So I feel like my family did all the bloody horrible things to me and made me jump on hoops and walk through eggshells – which is impossible – and chained me up like a friggin’ puppet, to get the $5 million I usually get when I do a movie with them because Jeff Tremaine and CKY started it,” added the former Jackass star.

When did Jackass 4 hit theaters?

Jackass 4 premiered on February 4, 20221.

The first debut was delayed due to the coronavirus and various injuries.

It is now available to stream on Paramount+.

Margera reported that stars Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O were hospitalized on the second day of filming.

The couple were jumping on a treadmill at full speed while wearing “band gear” when the accident occurred.

Jackass was originally a television series that aired on MTV for three seasons.

Feature films followed, including Jackass: The Movie (2002), Jackass Number Two (2006), Jackass 3D (2010) and Jackass 4 (2022).

“Johnny Knoxville and his gang of maniacs perform a variety of stunts and gross gags on the big screen for the first time,” reads the IMDb description for the first film.

The first film featured Knoxville, Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn and many others.

The television series premiered in 2000 and original episodes aired until 2002.

What did Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O say about Bam?

Fellow stuntman Steve-O responded to Margera’s claims that both Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine previously saved his life.

“The two people you say wronged you (Knoxville and Tremaine) are the same two people who organized the intervention that saved my life.

“Everyone bent over backwards to get you in the movie and all you had to do was not get loaded. You kept loading, it’s that simple.

“We all love you as much as we all say we do, but no one who truly loves you can make it possible or encourage you to stay sick,” added Steve-O.

In an interview with GQ, Knoxville said the team wants “Bam to be happy and healthy.”

“We want Bam to be happy and healthy and get the help he needs,” he told the outlet.

“We tried to push that forward. I think that’s all I really want to say about it.”

When asked about Margera’s recent firing comments, Knoxville said he didn’t want to get caught up in a “public back-and-forth with Bam.”

“I just want him to be better,” he added.
