However, her death was revealed to be nothing more than a fake and was firmly debunked.

However, the Lenexa, Texas singer-songwriter is no stranger to online death rumors, as fans once feared for her life after she spoke of a “scary experience” on a TikTok livestream.

The AGT winner reportedly claimed a man threatened her online and appeared visibly shaken.

On the livestream, she kept saying, “Oh my God, I’m scared.”

She also said, “A guy literally yelled at me and told me he was going to kill me and find out my IP address.”

When did Grace VanderWaal first become famous?

Grace VanderWaal rose to fame in 2016 after winning the eleventh season of America’s Got Talent.

During her audition for the TV competition, the star sang an original song about identity called “I Don’t Know My Name.”

She was chosen by one of the show’s judges, Howie Mandel, as his “golden buzzer“Action to skip the next round and appear in the live quarterfinal round.

Following her incredible AGT win, VanderWaal was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September 2016.

VanderWaal signed a record deal with Columbia Records in September 2016 and released her debut EP Perfectly Imperfect on December 2, 2016.

In early 2019, VanderWaal recorded her first soundtrack song “Hideaway” for the animated film Wonder Park and made several tour stops with her in the southeastern United States Florence and the machine in June this year.

She then stunned fans when she embarked on an acting career in 2020, playing the lead role of Susan “Stargirl” Caraway on Disney+’s Stargirl.
