ONE Netflix press release revealed that Henry Cavill himself helped design Geralt’s new armor, working with the show’s costume designer Lucinda Wright. Cavill talks about how the new armor “has made it so much easier for me to move around and fight,” adding that he and Wright put a lot of effort into getting the new armor out quickly.
The armor is meant to be more than simply giving Geralt a new look. Cavill goes on to talk about how this manifests as the first time Geralt chooses to actually stay in one place for an extended period of time. Cavill points out that, due to constant travel, Geralt has never had a chance to buy or craft new armor, and he spends his time perusing the dungeons of Kaer Morhen, where he and Ciri (Freya Allen) ), is currently in. , showing Geralt’s willingness to stop for at least a while, long enough to find some armor and take the time to change it up to suit him.
Season 2 of “The Witcher” is set to release on Netflix on December 17, with Season 1 already available on the streaming platform.
