Why does David Lang from Chicago PD look so familiar

Much of Bailey Chase’s film content consists of television roles – and since the beginning of his career in the late ’90s (through IMDb). Some of his earliest gigs included guest appearances on shows like “Baywatch,” “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” and “Step by Step.” And in 1999, Chase got his first major role with a 13-episode season in the hugely popular supernatural series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. Chase plays Graham Miller, an agent of the Initiative (a government agency focused on capturing demons for research purposes). Later, Graham became a supernatural analyst for the government.
In a 2012 interview with XX Quest, Chase reflected on his time working on “Buffy”. He said, “It was my first real job as an actor, it was any form of consistency. [of] character. It spent two seasons with the entire program of This Initiative. It’s clearly a hit rom-com turned into something even greater. So yeah, I’ll go see’ [conventions], and people remember me [from ‘Buffy’] and has few trading cards. “
Then, in another interview in 2012, this time with Collider, Chase thinks about being cast in “Buffy” feeling like a turning point in his acting career. “I had some time, driving to work one day, which is great,” he said. “By no means, I was a big part of that show, but just once again being a part of something bigger than myself… And I got paid for it. I said, ‘Great; I’m in!’ “
