What is the trend of warming up TikTok ice cubes?

One of the latest viral trends comes from TikTok is a hack involving leftover rice, an ice cube, and a microwave.

This way of reheating leftover rice is a non-traditional approach to the conventional method of pouring water over the dried rice.

You start by placing an ice cube on top of the leftover rice. Then, place a piece of parchment on top of it all before putting it in the microwave.

The freezer helps create steam and heat up rice. Once the rice is hot, remove the paper and discard the remaining ice.

Where did the TikTok ice cubes come from?
