Aside from being the daughter of Will and Jada, 21-year-old Willow is known for her career in the entertainment industry, which includes the 2016 hit single “Whip My Hair.”

While she might have whipped her hair back and forth back then, she’s now rocking a shaved look, one she received while performing the song on stage, which ended with a barber coming out and shaving her hair.

“My favorite song on the set right now just because it feels like singing it would probably have to be ‘Whip My Hair,'” Willow said during her concert, according to Insider.

“This will be the third time in my life that I shave my head. I always shave my head at monumental times in my life when things are really changing and this is definitely one of those moments.”

At the time of her decision, her album Lately I Feel Everything was out.

The same year that Willow debuted her shaved head, Jada also debuted a new hairstyle inspired by her daughter.

At the time, Jada revealed Willow convinced her to do so due to her ongoing struggles with hair loss due to alopecia.

“Willow got me into it because it was time to let go, BUT… my 50s are divinely lit with this shed,” Jada said of Allure.

In 2018, Jada opened up about her “hair loss struggles” during an episode of Red Table Talk, telling fans, “It was terrifying when it started. I was in the shower one day and I only had a handful of hair in my hands and I was like, ‘Oh my god, am I going bald?’

“It was one of those times in my life where I was literally shaking with fear. That’s why I cut my hair and continue to cut it.”

During the 2022 Academy Awards, comedian Chris Rock decided to poke fun at Jada’s hair, but his comments didn’t sit well with Will.

While presenting one of the awards on stage, Chris joked about Jada’s hair, saying, “Jada, I love you. GI Jane 2, can’t wait to see you,” referring to how Demi Moore shaved his head for the role in 1997.

While the audience laughed at first, Will quickly walked onto the stage and punched the comedian, later returning to his seat and telling him twice to “keep my wife’s name out of your damn mouth.”

Stunned, Chris then looked at the audience and laughed, saying, “Will Smith just spanked the shit on me.”

This wasn’t the first time Chris has taken things too far when it comes to Jada. In 2016, the star also quipped about her decision to boycott the Oscars, saying, “Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties.” I wasn’t invited.”
