During the first season finale, Lexi and a group of friends were stopped by the police while driving.

After drugs were found in the car, Lexi admitted fault and was immediately dropped from the Navarro University cheerleading squad.

Coach Monica eventually allowed her to return to the team but then the start of the pandemic brought everything to a halt.

Lexi previously shared how cheerleaders saved her life and helped her avoid a long time in prison.

The 22-year-old star explained that if she wasn’t on the team, she would be “sitting in a cell right now”.

She also opened up about her troubled past and said her violent behavior got her in jail for a while.

But thanks to trainer Monica Aldama, she was able to learn how to use the skills and transform her life.

This coach is known for reaching out to struggling young people and giving them the opportunity to improve their lives through a cheerleading program.

Will Lexi return to the Navarro cheerleading squad?

Lexi makes it to the second season, but she won’t be returning to the Navarro cheerleading squad.

The social media star has more than 736,000 followers on Instagram, brand deals with the likes of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty and Kat Von D Beauty, and her own line of merchandise, HexxByLexx.

Coach Monica told US Weekly: “Her coach contacted me and her mother and her grandmother, of course everyone wants her back to Navarro.

“I even said at the end of the movie that I felt like I still needed some time with her because she did a great job.

She had a little trouble and it was all resolved. She was sidelined during the fall semester and I felt she had enough time to reflect on that and learn from it.

“She’s doing great and she’s really happy to be back here, and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here.”
