But an injury to Holloway has caused that trilogy fight to be postponed, and Volkanovski is now scheduled to face Chan Sung Jung at UFC 273.

Who fights at UFC 272?

There’s plenty of talent on the cards in Las Vegas, but the main focus will be on the “blood feud” between the headliners.

Masvidal and Covington are former friends but now describe themselves as “bitter enemies.”

They looked set to meet in 2021 but will finally meet in the Octagon on Saturday March 5th.

A pumped-up Covington said: “This is a blood feud. It goes back to a brotherhood.

“We were together every day for eight years, side by side, couldn’t leave each other – best friends.

“Now we are the greatest bitter enemies. He’s the only person on earth I don’t give as a ***.

“Every time I see him I want to send this guy straight to hell and luckily I can do that in the UFC Octagon.”

Rafael Dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev were all set to provide the main support but the fight is now OFF after Fiziev signed Covid-19.

UFC kingpin Dana White assured fans a replacement would be found – and Renato Moicano has stepped up to fill the gap.

There may not be titles at stake, but there is sure to be drama.

And keep an eye out for Khabib’s cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov, in the early prelims.

The 26-year-old is undefeated in professional MMA and is making his first return to the Octagon since January 2021.
